Changing your password

If you signed up with email and password, you can change your password from Dashboard > Settings > Security. Enter your current password and choose a new one. If you signed up with Google or GitHub OAuth, your authentication is managed through that provider — use their account settings to update your password. For password resets, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page.

Two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. When enabled, you will need both your password and a verification code from your authenticator app to log in. Enable 2FA from Dashboard > Settings > Security. We support standard TOTP authenticator apps like Google Authenticator, Authy, and 1Password.

GDPR data export

Under GDPR, you have the right to receive a copy of all data Patnick holds about you. To request a data export, go to Dashboard > Settings > Privacy > "Export My Data" or email privacy@patnick.com. We will compile your data (account information, audit results, fix history, and communication logs) and provide it as a downloadable file within 30 days as required by regulation.

Account deletion

You can request account deletion from Dashboard > Settings > Privacy > "Delete My Account" or by emailing privacy@patnick.com. Account deletion is permanent and removes: your profile, all connected sites, audit data, fix history, and conversation logs. Active subscriptions are automatically cancelled. Allow up to 30 days for complete data removal from all systems including backups.

Data retention policy

Patnick retains your data for the duration of your active subscription plus 30 days after cancellation (read-only access period). After this period, data is scheduled for deletion. Audit snapshots and fix history are retained as aggregated, anonymized data for improving our algorithms. Payment records are retained as required by financial regulations. All data is stored in EU-hosted servers and encrypted at rest and in transit.
